Judging day of INNOMED-UP project’s sub-grants at Birzeit University has officially DONE
The unified evaluation committee met on Saturday, 6th of August 2022, in the presence of project’s management and staff at BZU, to read, mark, evaluate and discuss of:
19 applications from Nablus and Hebron cities for the project’s sub-grants for the owners of SMEs in the handicrafts and heritage industries sector that aim to take into account the environmental practices of the circular economy
The evaluation committee comprised: Dr. Amal Hudhud (Nablus Municipality), Dr. Wael Shaheen (Palestine Polytechnic University), Mr. Helmi Maraqa (Hebron Rehabilitation Committee), Mr. Muhannad Khatib (Ministry of Economy- Hebron Office), and Mr. Muhsen Zaloom (Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
As a result, 9 projects from both Nablus and Hebron cities were eligible for the sub-grants. It was also recommended to extend the deadline for (Pilot Innovative Products, and Cross-border Mentorship Schemes) sub-grants to August 20, 2022 as a second round.
