Birzeit University | جامعة بيرزيت in #Palestine is proceeding in its training program dedicated for SMEs owners in Nablus City. The training session “Occupational Safety, Health (OSH) & Eco-design In Handicrafts Production Process” aims to raise awareness towards occupational safety and health terms and the difference between them. Letting SMEs owners be aware of the dangers of the working environment and how to control it in the handicraft fields. And to recognize the concept of environmental health, ecosystem and its components.
The training outputs included a range of activities that helped the craftsmen to reflect on all potential risks in the scope of his or her work, as well as a distinction between correct and wrong practices in the working environment to ensure the health and professional integrity of the worker, and concluded with a range of tips that will contribute in raising the level of safety in the working environment.
