The Cultural Capital Markets was launched in partnership between the Palestinian Ministry of Culture and Birzeit University | جامعة بيرزيت in #Palestine; the #INNOMED_UP project partner in Beita Town at #Nablus
The project “Promoting Upcycling in Circular Economy through Innovation and Education for Creative Industries in Mediterranean Cities (INNOMED-UP)”, A number of small and medium-sized enterprises benefiting from the project in Nablus participated in an exhibition Beita: The Challenge and Steadfastnes to promote handicrafts and internationalism and promote Palestinian culture and identity, with the presence of the Palestinian Minister of Culture, Dr. Atef Saif, Mr. Hamdallah Afaneh, the Director of the Directorate of the Ministry of Culture of the city of Nablus, and a large number of media and national organizations, and whoever interested in handicrafts and the community as a whole.
The participation of the INNOMED-Up project was through Engineer Randa Jardaneh/BZU Team, and the presentation of a number of handcrafts by a group of Nablus city craftsmen that represented by Mr. Ayman Abid Raboo from Environmental Quality Authority- Art of Recycling Solid Environmental Waste, Ms. Amany Abweh- Hand Accessories and Glass Painting Art, Ms. Faida Alshorafa- Natural firewood alternative, and the Palestinian Red Crescent- Handmade works of soap, embroideries and wooden works.
The Participation of the INNOMED-UP Project team and SMEs from Nablus in this event was as part of the Public Awareness to disseminate the culture of the recycling of the waste in order to promote the Circular Economy in the country.
